SQUAD OF PERTH SCORCHERS:

Let’s have insights into the franchise for their squad for the upcoming 9th season of the Big Bash League.

SQUAD: Fawad Ahmad, Mitchell Marsh (Captain), Cameron Green, Josh Inglis, Sam Whiteman, Andrew Tye, Ashton Agar, Cameron Bancroft, Joel Paris, Jason Behrendorff, Nick Hobson, Aaron Hardie, Mathew Kelly, Jhye Richardson, Ashton Turner

The franchise has recruited Fawad Ahamd (from Thunders) to boost team performance.

The team management has decided to release some from the team. The released players are Nathan Coulter-Nile (who has joined Stars) Hilton Cartwright (also joined Stars), Michael Klinger (retired from cricket) Shaun Marsh (who has joined Renegades).

The franchise management has not signed David Willey, the England Fast Bowler, and Usman Qadir from Pakistan again. Both the players were suffering from bad form. The released players have created the vacancies for the new players.

Perth Scorchers finished at the last spot during the previous season of the BBL. Therefore, it causes the major team changes to be made more voidable. Perth Scorchers always prefer the local talent to hit the tournament. The new recruitment of Fawad Ahmad has already boosted the bowling attack of the team.

The plus feature for Scorchers is the addition of South African national team captain Faf du Plessis who has nicely linked with the franchise.
